"LOVE FROM A STRANGER."

The opening of "Love From a Stranger" at the London Pavilion Theatre was preceded by a Press preview, which was interrupted by an involuntary scream of terror from a woman in the audience who was swept away by the drama and suspense of the thrilling climax. 'As a result, practically every review referred to the yell and carried such headlines as "Film that Made a Woman Shriek," "This Film will Test Your Nerves," and "Women Shriek at Basilisk Rathbone." It is interesting to note that although produced .in London, "Love From a Stranger" is almost 100 per cent. Hollywood in its acting, directional, and scenario talent. It stars Ann Harding, with Basil Rathbone in the leading role opposite her; Rowland V. Lee directed; and the script was written by Frances -Marion.
