COUNTY RATES INCREASED
At a meting of the Horowhenua County Council at Levin yesterday to consider the estimates for . the year 1937-38 it was decided to increase the general rate' from 5-8 din the £ to 13-16 din the £, and the hospital rate from 9-46 din the £ to-.13-46d in the £. i :
