HOROWHENUA POWER
CONCESSIONS TO CONSUMERS
The Horowhenua Electric Power Board at its meeting this week decided to .reduce the,»charges, to consumers, particularly domestic users. In place of the three rates at present in operation consumers will now pay a uniform rate of 5d per unit for the first 10 units used and Id per unit for the next 200 units. For all. units MJver 210 the charge will: be -3d per unit. /.'Other concessions of ■ a minor nature: were made, and the'board is budgeting lor a deficit of; £1310 on the year's .working.
