SANITARY INSTITUTE
Two.films were shown at the quarterly meeting of the Wellington centre of the Royal Sanitary Institute in Wellington last night. Mr. W. H. Christie exhibited a picture of a journey to England from Wellington via Panama and various scenes in London during Jubilee Week that was instructive as well as interesting. The other film shown dealt with the manufacture of sanitary pottery-ware products, showing processes from the mining of the clay to the dispatching of the finished goods to markets. Over 30 members were present, and Mr. C. G. Swinburne presided. A report on the annual conference which was held at Auckland was given by Messrs. J. Fletcher and J. F. Hancock, Votes of thanks for the showing of the films were sponsored by Messrs. Parnell, C. G. Swinburne, and W. S. Thompson. The last-named was representing the Wellington Master Plumbers' Association.
