Odilion, 8.7, won the second division of the Encourage Handicap! by a length and a half from Kirrang. Kirrang also was second in an earlier race. Improvement, who is owned by Mr. W. S. Glenn,' had a four lengths' victory over Irish Morn in the Victoria Park Handicap.
Riposte and. Jubilee Singer were un-, placed in the first division of the Encourage Handicap. Maori Maid was unplaced' in the second division of the Fourteen Two Handicap. Hands Up was \lnplaced in'the. Welter Handicap,' won by Topical. ,
