TEA MARKET IRREGULAR.
The Colombo tea market this week was a little irregular for common teas, according to private advices received in Wellington. Medium and good teas met with a strong market, prices bein« unchanged. There was a good general demand for all types. Quality continues to fall off.

Wright has received the following cabled report on the Colombo tea auction of May 25: The market for medium and fine teas remained firm at last week's rates, while srlc.es for common grades eased about id.
