SETTLEMENT BY M. BLUM (Received May 26, noon). PARIS, May 25, ' The shipping .strike was settled after a conference between the Prime Minister (M. Blum) and the seamen's delegates. I The strike extended from Marseilles and Le Havre to other ports, involving dock workers and holding up many vessels, including the I Normandie.
