BRITISH SAILORS' SOCIETY.
A most enjoyable entertainment was presented at the rooms of the British Sailors' Society on Monday by Mr. Payne and his concert party to a very large audience of seamen and friends, the hall being filled to capacity. The programme consisted of songs, • instrumental numbers, dances, and elocutionary numbers.' It inchfdfed a ballet oy the David Devitt School of Dancing, songs at the piano by Mr. Assneton Harbord. piano-accordion items by Mr. George Eyans, and songs, by Mrs. L. Rosenthal, Misses" P. Lawson, S. ' Wilson, D. JWuir, and, Ivan Lawson and SVyndham Feehan. Others contributing 'to- the programme- were . Misses Beryl Richardson, Marjorie Whittington, Mariano Basile, and Renaiq Gage, and Messrs. N. Wilson, D. Paris, and Dave Willson. A buffet supper was served. ,
