PRINCESSES' CLOTHES
Dresses: and coats for the two little Princesses are made up at home, usually; by the sister of the nurse who was in; charge of the Princesses, states an exchange. She is an expert tailor and makes sketches for the Queen ;to see* before the clothes are'started. During the winter the' Princesses have haddark green, coats 'and stitched green velvet, caps' for everyday wear. For April at .Windsor Castle they had coats and skirts of grey flannel, with which they wore red and blue jumpers, and two-piece ensembles of dress and coat in a lightweight wool tweed in a soft shade of pink. Princess Margaret Rose has recently acquired a new riding suit with jodhpurs in a beige whipcord, with which she wears a Fair Isle jumper specially knitted for her by Lady Dunmore's Highland! crofters. ■ * i
