INTERESTS IN NEW ZEALAND

' SYDNEY, May 25^ : In connection with the purchase by the Bank of New South Wales of additional property in Queen Street, Auckland, officials of the bank in Sydney disclaim any intention to enlarge the -scope of the bank's activities in New Zealand by entering the savings banks business. The "Sun" states that there is no concerted move by the trading banks in New Zealand to exploit further avenues of business in, view of the loss of exchange profit since the Labour Government placed the financing of the Dominion's dairy produce exports with the Reserve, Bank. ■ , : , ,'....,
