VOTE OF CONFIDENCE :—♦ NATIONAL PARTY LEADER The following motion was carried unanimously at a' well-attended meeting of friends and supporters of the National Party held in the Record Hall, Upper Hutt, last evening:—'That the residents of Upper Hutt and surrounding districts do place their entire and absolute confidence in the leader of the New Zealand National Party, the Hon. Adam Hamilton." LEVIN STOCK SALE NO CHANCE IN PRICES At the Levin stock sale yesterday Abraharh and Williams, Ltd., offered small yardings, particularly of sheep. Prices were on a par with late rates, no variation being apparent in any section. The .quality of pork submitted was decidedly lower than that" of recent offerings, though anything well finished made full value. A total clearance was effected under the hammer at the following^ prices:—Pigs: Porkers, light, 23s <4d to 28s; medium, 30s to £2; heavy, £2 4s to £2 10s; baconers, £3 Is to £3 10s; choppers, 15s to £2; slips, 7s 6d to 15s; stores, 17s 6d to 255.
