LATE MR. ROCKEFELLER

NEW YORK, May 24. A private rail-car has been sent to Florida to bring John D. Rockefeller's body back. A simple' private: funeral service will be held on Wednesday at his official residence at Pocantico Kills, New York, where he had planned to celebrate his 98th birthday in July.. The burial will take place on Thursday at Cleveland. He will go to rest beside his wife in accordance with his wishes., '' The immediate members of tho family, none of whom were at the bedside, owing to the unexpectedness of the last seizure, are at Pocantico Hills. Messages of condolence and tributes are arriving from notable people in all parts of the world on account of the scope of his philanthropies. It is believed that the estate will prove to be astonishingly small, as Mk, Rockefeller had given more than 530,000,000 dollars to various educational, scientific, and religious institutions. The "New York Times" estimates the estate at less than 250,000,000 dollars.
