UNEXPECTED VISIT
QUEEN MARY INSPECTS DECORATIONS
(British- Official Wireless.) RUGBY,. May 23. Queen Mary made an unexpected visit to Bethnal Green yesterday. Local residents, who have taken great pride in their Coronation decorations, sent a note to. Marlborough House, through the hotelkeeper, inviting Queen Mary to see them. Queen Mary drove in a motor-car slowly through the principal streets and displayed much interest- in the display. She was at once recognised, and was given a rousing reception. ' ■ ■ - .
