£2000 TO KAIAPOI

WELLINGTON UNLUCKY

Wellington had again to be content .with the crumbs at the drawing of the "Try Your Luck" art union in the Masonic Hall, The Terrace, last night. "O.K. Baby," a Kaiapoi ticket, parried off the big prize of £2000,' while'Lumsssn, Whakatane,-Rangiora, and Opawa Zlso featured in the main prizes. iL-liOut twenty £10 prizes were* announced before the first big prize—the fourth of £100—was announced, but a little later the fifth, second, and third were drawn one after the other. Mr. J. Hutchen represented the Internal Affairs Department, and Sergeant P. Munro the Police.
