WAIWETU LADIES' CLUB
The fourball bogey by the Waiwetu ladies On Saturday was won by Mrs. Cheevers and Miss Reid. The monthly spoon competition on Sunday resulted in a tie between Mrs. Shrann, 114, 35—79, and Miss Browne, 115. 36—79. The weekly ball was tied for by Miss Findlay and Mrs. Shrann, and Miss Browne won the junior weekly ball. Winter Cup points: Mrs. Shrann, Miss Browne, and Miss Findlay, 3 each; Mrs. Keys 2, and Miss Keid 1.

Bullen 194. The following 'have two shoots to so: J. MclCelvie 138. R. Blair 138, A. Lawrence 138, R. Douglas 137, A. Gabb 135, H. Winnie 134. This competition closes on Thursday. HUTT VALLEY LADIES. The president, Mrs. May, entertained the members of the Hutt Valley Ladies' Club at a social evening. A very enjoyable time was spent in shooting and competitions. The competition winners were Mesdames ■ Henderson, Greenfield, McDowell, Ridley, Parrant, and Annear, and Miss Wall. ■, Another interesting evening was held with the Petone Working Men's Club Ladies. Mrs. Emmelt had the highest score and Mrs. Henderson got the consolation prize. In the Hutt Valley Ladies Mrs. Nicholas and Mrs. Ffrost tied, Mrs. Ffrost winning on the cut of the cards. Miss Nicholas won the consolation prize. The following are the scores In the first round of the Parsonage 10-shot competition:— Mesdames May and Ffrost 99, Davies 98, McDowell 97. Soma very good scores have been recorded in the first series competition, which commenced last Wednesday. The first possible of the season was scored by Mrs. Greenfield. . "EVENING POST" CLUB. There was a very good muster of members of the "Evening Post" Club at the range last night, when the South B team were guests. The first monthly competition is almost finished, next Monday being the final shoot. The highest scores last night were: H. Nickless 69, R. Gapes 68, E. Pumfrey 68, A. MacDowall 68, X, MacDowall 68, I. Kendrick 67. The holders of the Nickless Buttons for this week are A. MacDowall and K. MacDowall, vfho.each shot the possible, putting up the record score of 140.
