LICENSING OF DRIVERS
(Special to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day. Concerning the intention of the Government to take from the smaller local bodies the issuing of motor-drivers' licences, the Palmerston North City Council has decided to oppose the proposal and to advise the Municipal Association accordingly and request that that body should lodge an objection.
