Seven, offenders for drunkenness I were dealt with by Mr. W. H. Coy, J.P., in the Mount Cook Police Court today. One first offender was fined ss, three other first offenders and a second offender, Walter Robert Page, each 10s and costs, another second offender, John de Lacy Crowley, £1, and a third offender, John Fitzgerald, £5. Pleading guilty to a charge of indecent assault on a small girl, a young man appeared before Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Petone Court today, and was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence. His name was suppressed.
