MR. O'REGAN'S CAREER
r. Mr. O'Regan is as well known-as a citizen of Wellington as he is in me legal profession, in which he has carved a niche for himself by his ability (notably in compensation law), his tenacity and honesty of purpose,, and also because of his urbanity. He has been the counsel and friend of countless workers, in claims for compensa--tion for injuries; indeed it has been said of him that . there are many workers and widows throughout the country who have cause to remember his help in this direction. As an advocate of rating on the unimproved value he is also well known. His appointment will be popular with a wide circle in his profession and among the general body of citizens.
