REBEL MISSION TO ITALY
NAPLES, May 22,
Senor Juan March, a Spanish tobacco magnate' and a supporter of the rebel commanderrin-chief, General Franco, accompanied by other aristocrats, has arrived. He 'denies that he has a political mission. The passing through Gibraltar of Senor March led to the belief that; Signor Mussolini will be urged to withdraw Italian volunteers from Spain owing to continued ' representations from combatants' families, but later Senor March was credited with leading a mission from General Franco to persuade Signor Mussolini to continue his support. . , It is persistently rumoured that General Franco will resign if the Italian troops are withdrawn. •
