RUMBERC DISQUALIFIED ( • '■ _L (By Telegraph—Press Association.) * AUCKLAND, May 23. A professional wrestling contest in the Town Hall on Saturday night between Hal Rumberg, America, and Jack Forsgren, Canada, terminated abruptly just after the start of the sixth round, Rumberg being disqualified for allegedly striking his opponent on the jaw with his clenched fist. Erior to this each man had secured a fall.' The first went to Rumberg in the third round. After jolting his opponent he bounced very quickly off the ropes ] and took Forsgren heavily to the mat with a flying body scissors, which enabled him to pin the Canadian s shoulders easily. Forsgren evened the; falls ,in the fifth round with a Boston : crab, to which Rumberg submitted. This was applied after Rumberg had ; missed with a flying body scissors,; Forsgren quickly grabbing his opponent's legs to step over and apply the pressure. = It was a fairly lively encounter throughout, and the manner, in whicn the men applied holds with a good deal of roughness earned for each the frequent displeasure of the crowd, which did not quite fill the Town Hall. As Forsgren lay on the mat on his bacK after being struck in the sixth round the occupants of the stalls surged round the- staging outside the ring. There was a mixture of hooting ana cheering for both contestants.
