The Dominion Auctioneering Company, Palmerston North, reports that large quantities of fruit came forward during the past week and prices were firm. Realisations were as follows:— Fruit: Apples, Delicious 6s to 7s 6d per bushel, Jonathans 4s to 6s per bushel, Ballarals 6s to 7s per bushel, Stunners 6s to 7s 6d per bushel, Statesman 5s 6d to 7s per bushel, Frimley Beauty 5s 6d to 6s Gd per bushel; passion fruit, 13s per case; Cape gooseberries, 9s to 10s per case; lemons, best 16s to 17s 6d, others 11s to 14s; tomatoes, 2s to 6s per case; Winter Cole pears. 10s to 12s 6d per case.
