A team from Waiwetu played a friendly match with Rangimarie on Sunday, the visitors winning in both singles and fourballs. Findlay, 3 and 2; I. Golder beat R. Cantlon, 5 and 3; W. Chambers lost to J. Brennan, 2 and 1; R. W. Gray beat S. Campbell, 6 and 5: A. N. Tosswill and L. Stroud, all square; H. Rudolph beat W. Simpson, 2 up; E. F. Hammond and C. N. Johnson, all square; C. Russell beat B. Irvine, 2 up; R. Jones beat K. Wilkinson, 3 and 2; W. Munro lost to J. Leckie, 5 and 3; F. Marriot beat F. In the fourballs, Waiwetu secured' 6 wins against 4 by Rangimarie, 1 game being squared. In the afternoon, a fourball best-ball bogey was played over 13 holes. G. Gordon and J.
