GAME AGAINST SPRINGBOKS

Efforts are being made by the New Zealand University Students' Association to arrange for the New Zealand University Rugby football team announced this week to play a match against the Springboks at the end ot the latter's Dominion, tour. A telegram has been sent to the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. W. h. Parry) requesting that he endeavour to arrange the game. . , ■ When the 1928 All Blacks visited South Africa a similar request was made, and a match played at the end of the tour against the combined Cape Town Universities, the New Zealanders winning 14-9.
