Having his first run over the fences, Bermuda won the Autumn Steeplechase, £300, two miles, at Williamstown, defeating Underwood by twelve lengths, with Tongalla four lengths away third. Bermuda, who is engaged for the Grand National Steeple, covered the two miles in 3min 55sec. The Kororoit Hurdle, £300, two miles, was won by Bridge of Mar from Marshland and Strobus. Araunah was unplaced in the Beach Welter Handicap, seven, furlongs.
