The home links Coronation medal competition for women golfers with handicaps not higher than 18,. Which was played throughout .New > Zealand during the first week1 of May,-was won by Miss E. Edmonds,y;bf ythe Harewood Club,-Christchurch,, with a net score of four below the scratch score of the course.
Best scores returned were as follows, the scratch score of each course being given -in' parentheses: Miss E. Edmonds .(Harewood), 84, 14—70 (74); Miss C. Buchanan (Wairoa), 89, 18— 71 (74); Mrs. C. A. Arthur (Hamilton), 85 ,15—70-(73).
,The competition for the Aotea-Roa Cup. which was played in conjunction and is-open to all Ladies' Golf Union players, was won by Mrs. J. T. Tosswill (Taumarunui) with a net score of nine belowr ..the scratch score. The best cards were,: Mrs. J. T. TosswiU (Taumarunui)', 94, 31—63 (72); Mrs. R.
