BREWERY SHARES. A conspicuous feature in the brewery section this .week has been the .sharp advances made in the prices of ,-shares of'.J. Staples and Co. and N.Z. Breweries. • It was announced on Wednesday that director^ of the former had under consideration -an option of N.Z. Breweries, Ltd., to purchase certain of its property assets.
