INFANTILE PARALYSIS
■ "Anxious Mother" submits that the health authorities should ' not delay longer in closing the schools'to. check the spread of infantile paralysis,l firstly, so that children may not be exposed to the danger of infection; and, secondly, that the strain on parents may be relieved. "Some vainly argue that children, are to be seen., congregating in equally likely places, even when the schools are closed, but I think the majority of mothers, like myself, would be only too glad to isolate their children in the safety of their own gardens." ■ A
