MORE CARS WANTED

(To the Editor.) Sir,—lt was with interest I read that six new tramcars are under construction at the tramway workshops. ..As a: resident of Aro Street area and also an ardent strap-hanger at all times. I wondered if the tramway authorities would be" kind enough, when these cars are completed, to put two of them on the Aro Street run at the rush, hours, that is, .between 4.30 :and 5.30 p.m. and 7.30; and 8.30 a.m. As the .service is now it.- is most unsatisfactqry. I wish sometimes that we could all live in the Brooklyn area, because while waiting; for, an Aro .Street;:car in town one can see five and six Brooklyn cars leave in ten minutes.. Surely we can: get one or two extra- at the pea-k times.—l am, etc., ■ -. ■ .-' , .;;..„■-,./;.'■■■■.; .'■■". ■. ;i ' V,p.A.M.
