MIRAMAR OPENING
"Warm, windless weather drew a record attendance at Miramar's opening day on Saturday, nearly 200 players (a record) teeing off from 10 a.m. onwards in the mixed foursome bogey. Owing" to the spread of starting times there was no congestion, though the course^as filled all day. .Representatives of, the Titahi, Rangimarie, Te Marua, Shandon, and Hutt took part. ■; The results were;— •Mr.;and Mrs. Jacques (Miramar), 17, 1 up; Miss Dennis and Lockwood (Miramar), 18, all square; Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Banks (Miramar), 8, all square; Mrs. Andrews and J. M. A. Ilott (Miramar), 1 down; Mrs. Nimmo and W. L. Burch (Miramar), 1 down; Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lauchlan (Miramar), 1 down; Mrs. Mackenzie and F. W. Mackey (Miramar), 1 down; Mrs. McCarthy and A. E. Mabin (Miramar), 1 down; Miss H. Taylor and D. R.
