OBITUARY
MR. W. S. WALLS
Mr. W. S. Walls, a well-known Wellington .business man, died on Saturday at -the'age of 55. .Mr. Walls was principal of the .firm of R..Y. Walls and' Co., electrical engineers, and -he was a member c* ths: Renown Masonic Lodge, Wellington. An active member of the Wellington Bowling Club, Mr. Walls participated in the Easter tournament of the. Wellington Bowling Centre. '-'.';
Reference to the sudden death of Mr. Walls was made at the Wellington Bowling Club on Saturday by the club president. (Mr. H. G. Mayer). Mr. Walls had been a prominent and popular meniber of the club for many years, Mr. Mayer said, and his death, after a brief illness, had come as a shock to all club members. Respect to his ■memory was shown in the usual-way.
The funeral of the late Mr. Walls took place this morning at, the Karon Cemetery, the service being conducted by the Rev. J. R. Blanchard, of St. John's Presbyterian Church. Many members of the Wellington Bowling Club attended. The pall-bearers were Messrs. H. G. Mayer (president, Wellington Bowling Club), C. R. Ingram (hon. secretary), J. Wood, Joseph Walls (brother of the deceased), C. Gray Younc (brother-in-law), and W. Duncan (representing the Renown Lodge of the' Masonic Order). The Masonic service .was conducted by. . Worshipful Master C. W. M. Cameron, assisted by J. D. Marks,'P.M., R. Lawrie, secretary, and H. J." Murdoch, I.P.M.' The late Mr. Walls'was unmarried. ' . ■ ■ . •
