' The Petone-Rifle Club fired.its weekly competition at Trentham on.Saturday.' the results counting for j.he fifth series, Burridge and Longfield aggregates, and the final shoot for the club championship, Flaws' Cup,;: and the Jackson Bullet teams.. The .rangefor the day was 500 yards. The weather conditions were .ideal being the best conditions experienced^ at Trentham range this season, and consequently nigh scoring was the order of the day. Possibles were ; made \by w. 11. linser and T. B. Richards, both in their Sd effort. There were!: twenty scores which equalled or..bet^e^M^ club standard of 47 for the 500, yards raw 6H. Ballinger, by very consistent high scoring,, was the winner of the I(SS^Nic^n.:«3^d.P. Th^B erade championship- was won by W. G.g Scambary with a tota. score of-438 followed by W. A, Scott, 425. The C grade championship + wa S won by D. E. Cameron, with a total of 44S points,, followed by S. Nicholl with NicholMvon, the^aw* &!£ dicap Aggregate Cup for the E and.
