YOUTH INJURED
FALL IN POST OFFICE
(Special to the "Evening Post.") .MASTERTON, This Day. A Carterton youth named Leonard Morris was admitted to the Masterton Hospital on Friday night as the result of injuries received when he fell' down seventeen steps to the concrete floor of the boiler-room at the Masterton Post Office.
The» accident occurred shortly be*fore 9 p.m., when Morris, accompanied by his brother Herbert, entered a door at the top of the "steps leading down to the boiler-ronm. Bsing unfamiliar with the surroundings, they did not switch on .the light,' and -in : the darkness Leonard Morris descended the top step and then slipped and fell to the concrete floor below. His brother immediately went down and assisted him up the steps. ■ . ■ • The injured youth, complained of pains, in his right ; arm and head, and was attended to by a doctor and, ;later admitted to hospital, His condition, is showing an improvement. .■,-...,
