MAN STRUCK BY CAR

HOKITIKA, This Day.
When returning after a search for a cow which caused damage to a car last night and disappeared into a swamp off Fitzherbert Street, Albert Simms, aged 32,' single, a Public Works employee at Harihari, was struck by another 'car driven ,by James Alfred Andrews, a butcher, of Hokitika. Simms was seriously injured and died in the Westland Hospital four hours later.., ■■
