LONDON, April 8.
The Berlin ; correspondent of the ."Daily Telegraph" reports that German anger has been aroused by the placing of a guard at the grave of the parents of Herr Hitler at • Leonding, near Linz,- in Austria, following an Austrian and his wife being fined for placing wreaths on the grave. The Austrian, a retired railwayman named Reinhold Brueckner, and his wife were fined £3 and the man was deprived of his pension. ; . ,
"Germans will be struck' speechless by this monstrous Austrian, police measure," says the "Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung." -

■■■ The Vienna correspondent of' "The Times" : says that ' "Viennese 'official circles state that ft was not the:actual laying of the wreaths which.the; Austrian ■ authorities regarded as reprehensible, but. the fact that; they bore inscriptions the wording of which could only, be regarded as a wilful political demonstration. That on Herr Brueckner's wreath read: "To the father of the saviour, of Germany and' of the man who, will liberate;. Austria." His wife's read: "We thank you in death. We. thank you for your son." .
