COL. BECK'S PAPERS

LOSS BY POLISH MINISTER

CANNES, April 1.

Diplomatic and private papers were stolen from Colonel Beck; Polish Foreign Minister, it is reported. Colonel Beck is at present staying at the Grand Hotel.

The police, who are making active investigations at the hotel, are unwilling to make any statement.

Colonel Beck has telephoned the news of his loss to the French Minister for the Interior.
