A child aged one year,;;the son of Mrs. Nora Clark, of Trafalgar Street; Onehunga, was'drowned in a bath this morning.'' The 'mother bathed and dressed the child! about 8.30.': a.m. and went"; outside); leaving it -: playing on the hearth-rug. .Two.girls went into the house-with the intention; of taking the child for an outing and found him hanging over the side of the bath with his head and shoulders;, covered by the water..- A doctor was called, but!,efforts at"<resuscitation failed.
