WELLINGTON HOCKEY
A meeting of the Wellington Hockey Association was held last evening. Mr. C.P. McKenzie'presiding. ... The annual report, which is f to be presented at the annual meeting on March 23 was drafted. The question of whether representatives from the Umpires' and Schools Sub-Associations should be given a vote was referred to the annual meeting. A letter.was received from Mr. W. A Armour,, headmaster of Wellington College, asking for particulars- of the coming season as it affected the five Wellington College teams which would be competing in the association's competition. It was decided to leave the reply' in the hands of the secretary.
For his second statutory offence of drunkenness, John Jacob Scott, a labourer, aged 76, was fined 5s and costs by Mr. J.Morling, S.M.,.in.the Mag-istrates-Court'today.
