MANAWATU WINNERS
: There was a large attendance at the Manawatu Trotting Club's' matinee meeting, held on the club's training track, .Palmerston North, on .Saturday, a stellar attraction being a parade by Harold Logan, who looked in rare flesh, and as full of vim as a two-year-old. Winners of the matinee races were Mr. Ei Hinds's bay. filly Effie Farrish, Mr. M, J. Hasler's Juggler, Mr. D. W, Heid's Arapai, and Mr. A. G. Farlands. Franz Derby. . v . ''; '. ~ The meeting was. ably conducted by the officials of the Manawatu Trotting Club, and such gatherings wall do much to popularise, the sport in;this thriving community.. • ■
