After s, week's exceptionally heavy trading prices on the Sydney Stock Exchange today were inclined to fluctuate, but most leading industrial shares were strong. Base metal interests were firm.

MELBOURNE, March 1. The investment market was fairly quiet today but steady. Dunlop-Per-driau ordinary provided the main interest, moving up to 21s 3d, but selling pressure brought them back to 21s.
