HEAVIER ARRIVALS
The weekly cabled report received from London by the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board states that owing to heavier arrivals prices for lambs have declined further but the lower prices are stimulating consumption. Although trade in wethers and ewes is slow, prices arc firmer owing to short spot stocks. Frozen beef is firm with failinquiry. Chilled beef prices are easier owing to heavier supplies., Trade in New Zealand porker pigs is slow with medium weights slightly easier. Baconers are easier, with poor demand.
