WIN FOR LAVINA
The Kirkcaldie Cup race for A class centre-boarders, held on Saturday day afternoon by the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club, resulted m .a win for Lavina. There were some close finishes. The race resulted as follows:— (Started at 3 p.m.) Lavina (3min), 4hr 35min 56sec, 4hr 32min 56sec 1 Jean (7min), 4hr 40min 48sec, 4hr 33min 48sec 2 Courier (llmin). 4hr 45min 40sec, 4hr 34min 40sec .-..: 3 Also started: Impudence, Wellesley 11, Advance, and June.
