The social committee of the Brooklyn branch of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association staged a successful card evening on Friday night in' the club's, : social hall, Cleveland. Street, when euchre and bridge were played. Both games were well patronised. The principal prize-winners were:—Euchre, Mrs. Lowndes and Mr. Knight; consolation prizes, Mrs. Moug and Mr. Butcher..
