The social committee of the Brooklyn branch of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association staged a successful card evening on Friday night in' the club's, : social hall, Cleveland. Street, when euchre and bridge were played. Both games were well patronised. The principal prize-winners were:—Euchre, Mrs. Lowndes and Mr. Knight; consolation prizes, Mrs. Moug and Mr. Butcher.. Bridge: .Mr. McDonald and Miss Good. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. MacKinnon,,Mr. and' Mrs. Biddle, Mr. and Mrs. Metcalfe, Mr. and Mrs. Mac Donald, Mr. and Mrs. Morganti; Mr.-and Mrs.'W.Makin, Mr.and Mrs. Elias, Mr. and Mrs. Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. Bircham, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Grieson, Mesdames Mouton, R. Metcalfe, Moug, Raddon, Burgess, Good, Andorsdn, Haplin, Conner, Rowle, Tyson, and Jackson, Misses Mumbly, Turner, Dyson. Tinningo, and Wyatt, Messrs.
