EXPECTED THEM TO HOOT !
Young Idea's breeder-owner, Mr. Percy Miller, was surprised when there was;no demonstration against his horse for an apparent reversal of form in winning the St. George Stakes at Caulfield last Saturday week!
Mr. Miller was quite puzzled by the brilliant form shown by Young Idea after his pooi* display at Williamstojwn the previous week; He would not have been in the least resentful had the crowd shown any displeasure at the apparent reversal of form. He remarked later in the day'that if there had been any hooting the crowd was entitled to hoot. It is not often an owner is willing to justify a demonstration against himself, but Mr. Miller is a sportsman. '
