LAMB VALUES DECLINE
The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business this week: —The market for wethers is rather easier. Smaller supplies of ewes have caused prices to harden. Values of lambs have declined owing to large prospective arrivals. The market for chilled beef has declined and demand has fallen off. Wethers, light 4 7-8 d to s}d, heavy 4d to 4i-d; ewes, 3 5-8 d to 4£d; lambs, 2's 7 3-8 d to 7£d, B's 7 l-8d to 7id, 4-s 6Jd to 6 7-Bd, seconds 7d to 7 l-8d; chilled ox hinds 5d to 5Jd, fores 3d to 3^d. •
