A reception and .welcome to Sir Harry Lauder will. be given by the Scots of the city on Thursday evening in the Masonic Hall. All Scots are invited to be' present. Sir Harry will be piped into the hall and-received by the heads of the Wellington Caledonian, Burns, ■ Gaelic, ■ Scots. Social, and St. Andrew Burns. Clubs,, and . .officially welcomed by the chairman of the "Wellington Association of Scots Societies (Mr. J. G. Mackenzie):
■•• Though organised .through the societies all Scots are invited to participate in this reception and welcome to Sir Harry. A first-class concert programme has been arranged, to be followed by a dance until midnight. Supper will be served by the ladies'• social committee of the societies. "
