FAMILY PAYMENTS
(To the Editor.) Sir, —The proposals of the secretary of the Island Bay Relief Workers' Association, as given in the "Evening Post" of February 23, for family bonus payments seem to me to be iniportant and admirable. I hope they will be taken up and given effect to by our present Government. I think the Island Bay association, supported by others, should commend these proposals directly to the Prime Minister, for I am of the opinion that he would gi\'e them his support and have thenj carefuly examined from every angle and carried out if found^to be practicable. I believe if they* can be carried out they will bs found to be extremely beneficial to the administrative departments, to the Government, and to the country as a whole.—l am, NEOZELANICUS.
