FILM BATTLE FATALITY
HOLLYWOOD. February 24.
During the filming of a movie battle scene a bomb exploded on the Universal lot, splinters killing George Daley, an extra operating a machiin'gun. Daley, aged 41, was a machinegunner during the World War. A group of other extras narrowly escaped death.
