DELAYED EXPLOSION
BELGIAN ARMY TRAGEDY
BRUSSELS, February 24.
Seven army officers were killed and eight seriously injured through a delayed explosion during an instructional course. A fuse attached to a heavy charge was lighted, but no explosion followed. Assuming that the fuse had failed, the officers approached to investigate. The explosion then occurred.
