RAILWAY WORKERS

SUPPORT FOR GOVERNMENT

At a well-attended meeting of the Hutt branch of the Railway Tradesmen's Association held recently the following resolution was carried unanimously:—"That this branch notes with concern the increased prevalence of propaganda, both subtle and blatant, aimed against the Labour Government of New Zealand. In this circumstance we skilled railway workers, while expressing our gratitude for the improved conditions, we, in common with the other working people of this country, now enjoy, reaffirm our steady support of and confidence in the Labour Government. We further call on all clerical and industrial workers and working farmers to actively expose and combat such propaganda where and whenever it appears."
