MR. CHARLES WOODWARD

The death occurred in Wellington early this morning of Mr.. Charles Woodward, a resident of the city for about 30 years: The-late Mr. Woodward was born in Sandwich, Kent, in 1854, and came: to the Dominion in 1907, settling in Wellington. . He was associated with the drapery trade for 20 years as a member of the staff of Te Aro House, arid since the closirig of that establishment in 1928 has lived in retirement in- Wellington and Levin.

He leaves a family of three daughters and two sons—Mrs. Hoy Sinel, Island Bay; Mrs. T. Ronayne, Eastbourne; and Mrs. Arthur Shand, Dar-; gaville; and Mr. Frank/Woodward, Wellington, and Mr. C. B. Woodward, Trinidad. Mrs. Woodward died in November, 1926. .

The interment will be private,
